About the novel :-
In this novel 'pride and prejudice' Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth are protagonist of the novel. This novel is based on the concept of marriages. The story is based on the relationship of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth,that how they meet and how they fall in love with each other and at the end of the story, how they forgot their pride and prejudice and accepts their love or relationship and they commited marry at the end of the story.
1. which version of the novel is more appealing? Novel or Film adaption? Why?
Both versions are good film adaption and novel, because in the film we can see with more consuntration and we can remember easily and we can imagin that pictures when we can try to think about that.
According to me, film adaption is more appealing because, people mostly likes watching movies rather than reading. And in the film ,we can see all the situation easily and when we read something we cannot imagin some of the parts . In the film we get all kind of attention and while read we cannot do concentrate because of the desturbance.
In reading, silence is more important but in watching we can concentrate in the film and there is no need for the silence as much as reading. we can watch movie in very few time but we cannot read the book in that much time.People can remember what they see rather then what they read.
I think film adaptation is the best , because all the person can not read or all the person can not be literate , who can read literature in all the langauges that's why film adaptation is only the way through which all the person can learn about literature.
But there is a problem in film adaptation that some scene could be changed and even some scene could be missed .In this point we can say that reading novel is better then film adaptation.
2. Character of Elizabeth (Headstrong girl, women with pride, judgement, mature, strong-opinions, controlled and honest.).
Elizabeth's character is the protagonist of the novel. Twenty year old Elizabeth ,sometimes lizzie, sometimes Eliza , is most attractive young women. Not only is she beautiful with eyes that made her irresistible to Mr. Darcy but she has an exceptional personality. She is high spirited but self-controlled , always guided by her good sense , which few of other female characters in the novel have. She is self-assured, outspoken and assertive, but never rude or aggressive.
we can say that Elizabeth is headstrong women because she cannot forgive her insult easily. She cannot be sacrifice with her ambitions and self-respect. She is also women with pride because we can see the base of the story that the story based on the prejudice of Elizabeth and the pride of Mr. Darcy.
She can also judge a people when they were wrong, we can see her judgements when she heard Mr. Wickham's story about Mr. Darcy and judge him for what he had done wrong with Mr. Wickham. In this scene we can see her judgement.
Elizabeth's character is one of the mature character of the mature character of this novel because in this novel we can see ,so many female characters but no one can take take their own decition every where,she can short-out her problems , that's why we can say that she is a mature women character.
She is also a srong-opinions because we can see in the scene where Mr. Darcy opinion could change at the end of the story but Elizabeth could not change her opinion towards Mr. Darcy. When Mr. Darcy first rejects her proposal and at the end he proposed her and feels sorry for his bed behaviour with Elizabeth.
At the end , we can say that she is also controlled and honest girl because she can controlled her emotions in every-place and she honestly pays all the responsibility towards her family. She honestly convince her mistake and her feelings.
3. Character of Mr. Darcy (Man with pride,Male ego, Reserved, Introvert, Observed ,Silent lover, Superiority Complex,True lover).
In this story, the main character is Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's character has so many characteristics like, he has a pride , male ego, Introvert, Observer , Silent lover,Superiority complex and true lover.
Darcy as men with pride we can say that the character of Darcy is man with pride,when he does't accepts the offer of Elizabeth for dance, and he rejects that offer because he has a male ego and he fills pride for his wealth that's why he doesn't wants to dance with a poor families girl, Elizabeth and he insults her that she is not looking good.
we can say that he is reserved and introvert character because we can see his character that he doesn't speak much ,he can't say anything to other people . His character is also presents as observer when he observes Elizabeth's character and passes comment the beauty of her.
He is also a silent lover because ,In this story hr feels love for Elizabeth but he can't commit his love. And at the end he commited his love and proposed Elizabeth and say sorry for his bed behaviour .He has also superiority complex because he comes in wealthy family. He loves Elizabeth but because of his wealthiness he can't commited his love. But at the end of the story he choses the love of Elizabeth instead of his pride,male ego and other things.
4. Give illustration of the society of that time(Jane Austen's presentation).
At that time , society is only give respects or importance of wealthy families . According to Jane Austen ,we can say that ,the society of that time is give respects of wealthy man and they also want's a groum , who comes from wealthy family. They doesn't give respect of poor people or family.

In this story, this story is based on concept of marriages ,but here we can see that Mr. and Mrs. Bennet wants wealthy groums for their daughters. Mr. Binngley is from wealthy family that's why Mr. and Mrs. Bennet wants that one of their daughters should marry with him that's why they organised bell party ,so they would come and meet each-other ,and fall and in love with one of their daughter. We also see ,when Elizabeth chooses Wickham instead of Darcy ,at that seen Mrs. Bennet tells her that he is not good and he can't take your responsibility because he comes from a poor family.
Marriage is also important in society ,and they chooses perfact class and wealthy family for marriage. Because they thinks that if they starts relationship with upper class family than they also being upper class family or upbringing their family, middle class from to upper class . So ,we can say that class structure is also important in society.
At the end , Lydia married with Wickham,then also Mrs. Bennet becoming tensed for her daughter because Mr. Wickham does not comes from wealthy family ,so he can't take care of her daughter.
So, at the end , through the presentation of Jane Austen ; we can say that society will give respect wealthiness more than poor family.
5. If you were directer or screenplay writer ,what sort of difference would you make in the making of movie ?
If I am director or screenplay writer ,I would make this differences . Like.,
1). Elizabeth's character does not represents as the novel ,her reactions are not as the novel. So ,at the first I do that difference because Elizabeth's character is the main character that's why the character should attracts viewers.
2). Second thing we're that , Georgena's character (Darcy's sister ) also doesn't represents as she is ,that she is a high ambitions girl. Bingley's reactions also doesn't apper in the film because in the book readers doesn't need for the reaction but while we watching film we need reactions , so it's important.
6. Who would be your choice of actors to play with role of characters?
( Elizabeth, Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bingley , Jane , Mr. Collins, Wickham).
Elizabeth :- Rekha (Fool Bane Angare)
Mr. Darcy :- Rishi Kapoor (Housefull)
Mr. Bingley :- Amitabh Bachchan (Bagban)
Jane :- Amrita Rav (vivah)
Mr. Collins :- Varun Dhawan (Sui-Dhaga)
Wickham :- Akshay Kumar (Padman)
7. Write a note on a scene you liked the most .
I like that scene most, when Mr. Darcy proposed Elizabeth and say sorry for his bed behaviour .
At that time ,he forgives his pride and fall in love with Elizabeth . He excepts Elizabeth instead of his wealth and male ego. That's why I like this scene most.

8. Compare the narrative strategy of the novel and movie.
Narrative strategy is better in novel instead of movie because novel is starting with the discussion of Mrs. Long and Mrs. Bennet and then after Mrs. Bennet tells Mr. Bennet about their conversation and then after she convinced Mr. Bennet for the arrangement of bell party ,but the movie is starts directly on the scene of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet's conversation for the arrangement of bell party.
Second thing we're that in the movie , Elizabeth informs her family that Lydia were got married with Wickham,but in the novel Lydia send a letter and suggest her that she should be accepts Mr. Bingley and his love.
